Description: The Lead Teacher provides work direction for team members in the classroom and oversees and ensures success of program delivery. The incumbent works cooperatively with team members in the classroom and administrators to carry out the child care mission and vision. The incumbent provides quality childcare services to children and families that focus on child care center core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.

  • Meet Wisconsin Teacher qualifications, including yearly in service requirements.
  • Adult and child CPR or CPR/PR, First Aid, and AED Certifications within 30 days of hire.
  • Commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives.
  • Ability to create lesson plan, organize, develop and implement program activities. Excellent skills in teaching, communication, and human relations.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations, including special needs.
  • Previous work experience leading programming for children Preform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending, Reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/dangerous situations.
  • May provide children with assistance in dealing with issues such as personal hygiene, medical needs, toileting, diapering, lifting, writing, feeding, and getting in or out of transportation.
  • Experience working with special needs is a plus.
  • Maintains necessary and accurate records

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a teaching capacity
  • Minimum 2 years licensed group child care working directly with infants and toddlers.
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check
  • All state required education/certifications
  • Spanish speaking is encouraged, but not required.

Description: The Assistant Teacher will support the teaching staff in implementing childcare programs. The incumbent will assist with carrying out the child care mission and values by providing high quality child care services to children and parents that focus on the child care center core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.  
  • Meet Wisconsin Assistant Teacher qualifications, including yearly in service requirements.
  • Adult and child CPR or CPR/PR, First Aid, and AED Certifications within 30 days of hire date.
  • Implements curriculum under the direction of the Lead Teachers Assesses group and individual needs in coordination with Lead Teachers Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • A commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives.
  • Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Assist with the implementation of daily plans and activities of the Lead Teacher.  
  • Assist in supervising children and participate with children in activities.
  • Maintain program site and equipment.
  • Communicate with parents on an ongoing basis and assist with parent conferences.
  • Assist with daily observations and child evaluations.
  • Provide guidance for children’s behavior.
  • Experience working with special needs is a plus.
  • Maintains necessary and accurate records  
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, At Least Level 5 on the Registry
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check
  • At least 2 years experience as an assistant in a childcare setting.
  • Spanish speaking is encouraged, but not required.
 
Classroom Assistant/Floater  Apply Now
Description: In need of a part time classroom Floater to offset ratio and other staff schedules. Hours may vary each day/week.
