Kid-Tastic Child Care Thrilled with Star Testing Results in K5 Program

Star Assessments provide screening, goal setting, and progress monitoring data which gives educators reliable insight to help lead their students toward mastering Wisconsin Academic Standards in reading and math. These evidence-based assessments also personalize practice to promote student growth and to position students for future success.
In the 2023 academic year, Kid-Tastic implemented Renaissance Star Testing with students in K5. On average, findings show, that Kid-Tastic students consistently outperformed their peers nationally in the same grade. Their scores were above average in comparison, affirming the education they were receiving at Kid-Tastic.
At Kid-Tastic Child Care, one of their main goals is to accelerate growth and ensure their students build the skills they need for success. The Elementary Prep School program at Kid-Tastic focuses its students on studying the traditional subjects in Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science, Physical Ed. and Arts, while also acquiring mature life skills. This program focuses immensely on school readiness, preparing all students to excel beyond their first year in Elementary School.

Armed with the results from Renaissance Star Testing, Kid-Tastic teachers are now equipped with an exact understanding of a student’s strengths and areas of growth. As another academic school year unfolds, Kid-Tastic is going to be taking its findings from these recent evaluations and implement new strategies to meet or exceed the same results in the 2024 school year.
